This document describes the setup process for the Demo Facility.

Physical setup

Stationary Demo Facility

The stationary Demo Facility constists of two iMac Pros and a Wifi Router. Connect all devices with power and turn them on. Both iMacs have a user "Demo" which shall be used for demo purposes.

Portable Demo Facility

The portable Demo Facility consists of one MacBook Pro and a Wifi Router. Connect all devices with power and turn them on. The Macbook Pro has a user "Demo" which shall be used for demo purposes.

Connect the Ringscanner via bluetooth to one of the devices and connect the ProGlove via USB to one of the devices.

Software setup

On the desktop there is a folder demofacility which contains the project. If this folder cannot be found, it can be pulled from the repository using the following terminal command:

git clone https://logwear@bitbucket.org/logweardevteam/demofacility.git

Use the password you were provided with.

To start the latest stable version of the Demo Facility, run the following commands:

cd ~/Desktop/demofacility
docker-compose build --pull
docker-compose up -d

If new images are built due to updates in the repository, this process can take a while.

You can now open the frontend of the Demo Facility by navigating to http://localhost.

Resetting the Demo Facility

To reset the Demo Facility just restart the Docker containers with

docker-compose restart
